SPINACH – BROCCOLI – PARSNIP – APPLE

The ingredients of our Green Smoothie are spinach, broccoli, parsnip and apple.

Spinach provides muscle strength. Just think of comic hero Popeye who always uses spinach when he has to fight again.

Broccoli is rich in vitamin C, rich in fiber and is the source of the so popular omega 3 fatty acids.

In the past parsnip was a very popular vegetable, it is a predecessor of our winter carrot. Nowadays we count the parsnip to the 'forgotten vegetables' because hardly anyone knows parsnip anymore. It is a long ivory-colored carrot that weighs up to 300 grams. The taste is intense, aromatic and slightly sweet and lies between the taste of carrot and celery. Furthermore, parsnip acts as a stabilizer, to prevent the smoothie form separating too quickly. Apples contain few calories. They do not deliver much vitamin C, but they do have a lot of dietary fiber and potassium.

You prepare the Green Smoothie by blending a bag of our 150 grams Green veggie express mix with 300 ml of Fresh Fruit Express Smoothie base fruitjuice. The Veggie Green has a beautiful green color and is experienced as very tasteful, even by non-veggie smoothie drinkers.

It is very important that you use a powerful blender to get the right experience. Even kids get enthusiastic by drinking their daily vegetables.
